FSNYC Food Almanac 2013

Ah yes! Finally a food policy event that includes the star of the show — fresh, delicious food.

Food Almanac 2013: Forecasting the Year Ahead in Food and Farm Policy and Politics

Food Systems Network NYC (FSNYC) hosts this annual function to increase awareness of the state of local sustainable agriculture and issues related to maintaining ” a good and fair food system”.

Your ticket to this event will give you access to engaging policy updates on urban farming, food distribution, and conservation from a credentialed panel of speakers.   Have specific questions about food or farm policy?  Mix and mingle with some of the area’s brightest food justice advocates committed to supporting FSNYC.

Don’t forget to reward your intellectual curiosity and activism with some good eats.   Attendees will be treated to savory tastings prepared by The Cleaver Co., (owners of the Chelsea area organic eatery, The Green Table). Brooklyn Winery and various other sponsors will provide guests with sips of riesling, merlot, beer and refreshing spirit concoctions.
